C&G wish to convey the sad news that Captain Peter Bass passed away suddenly, whilst at home, on 29th March 2014. Peter had close to 50 years experience in the shipping industry, both as seafarer and master, and then later as director of Christy and Griffin. Peter will be missed by all of us at Christy and Griffin, and by his many colleagues and acquaintances within the shipping industry.
